Cook A Delicious Healthy Meal In 15 Minutes Flat

Delicious Bacon & Mushroom Pasta in Pink Sauce.
This is not a fat free meal but it’s a home cooked meal and damn tasty and sure better then eating pizza or burgers for dinner. Best of all you can cook it in 15 minutes flat!
Ingredients
- 2-4 tabs olive oil
- 4-6 rashers bacon
- 1 onion
- 2 gloves garlic
- 1 small red chili
- 300g mushrooms
- 1 to 1-1/2 cups tomato pasta
- Handful chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup thick cream
- Handful grated Parmesan
- 500g Penne, Fettuccine, or spiral pasta
Directions
- Boil lots of salted water in a large pot
- Whilst waiting for water to boil, heat oil in a fry pan and add chopped bacon, onion, chili, garlic. fry for a few minutes till soft
- Add mushrooms and fry for another 2 mins
- Add tomato pasta and parsley and simmer till pasta is ready
- When water has boiled add pasta and cook for approx 10 mins or as per instructions on pack.
- Drain pasta when done and add to fry pan mixture
- Gently stir through cream and Parmesan
- Serve with extra Parmesan if desired.
